Who We Are

Charlie is a jazz and funk saxophonist with a passion for all things wine.

He has played all over London and the South-East at renowned venues such as the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and XOYO, with a huge variety of bands and ensembles.

His interests (and a certain thing in 2020) also led him to work in the wine trade, where he formally studied wine and found himself presenting tastings, hosting groups of keen learners several times per week.

Charlie decided to take the best parts from his day and night jobs, and created Tasting Notes, where he and his slick house band bring you an evening like no other.
